首先我用的是收费的，比较方便。
像06年申请的老牌网站freeshell.org这个已经坚挺很久了，不过经营方式改变了，部分的老账号不可以用了。
对于有国外空间的用户来说，他们一般都有SSH Shell账号，在上网的时候就比较方便，自由度就比较高点，可以用SSH账号和MyEnTunnel结合来上网。
国内也有提供免费的SSH账号的，最出名的就是Unix Center，对学习很有用，但是不能用来当跳板。介绍几个免费SSH Shell账号服务的网站。

OpenShells provides IRC bouncers and Linux/BSD shell services to the community. You can also host a small personal web page. The shell service is used for learning linux, screen/tmux and irssi/weechat.
We do not allow tunneling or running other services from our shell servers. If you do build enough of a reputation (good…) and are interested we will provide access to servers with fewer restrictions.
If you break any of our written or unwritten rules you may be banned and have your account permanently removed with little or no warning. We have not had to enforce this much due to the good community of folks who are members of OpenShells.

上面是他们的网站说明，这个申请起来说实话比较麻烦。附上简单的教程吧。
首先用putty选择他们的ssh方式打开openshells.net，端口22
附上putty下载地址：http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html
输入他们的申请账号：signup，输入密码：wanker66，千万不要和我一样输出错误
按下tab键选择next
输入你像申请的用户名和邮箱
之后enter到下一步输入用户密码和irc密码，这个irc密码是用来讨论聊天的，需要nuix终端，也可以在线，自己百度
准备账号，密码里面必须包含大、小写字母、数字、特殊字符，且长度务必超过7个字段。
填写完成后需要tab键next，之后进去确认界面
之后第一步就算完成了，这时候退出putty，重新打开putty，还是输入上述的的用户名和密码
用户：signup，密码：wanker66和上次一样，这次不要进入page1的时候选择要换成login
进入到这个界面以后选择
之后输入你刚才的申请的用户名和密码（第一个密码），例如我的shikey，密码是************
进入界面后发送激活邮件：
到此收到邮件后你会得到一个确认吗，第二步基本结束
进入irc聊天，差不多5-10天就可以激活账户了，当然你也可以选择付费直接激活。
顺便说下，没有irc客户端的，可以选择在线聊天，最好用firefox浏览器。不硐IRC的可以百度一下
基本上免费ssh shell里面都用的是irc交流，不明白的可以本站留言。
忘记说了这个配置了：

不支持php，支持python和数据库，支持c和c扩展，100MB的空间速度不错。
说实话，如果电脑配置很好的人，可以自己本机安装个双系统，这样玩的更舒心。
